Fitness at the Rec Centre

Every Tuesday and Friday, noon-4

Physical fitness benefits many aspects of daily life, including brain function and emotional health.

Led by Debbie Dee, with  Jimmy helping on Fridays, we have use of a private room for exercise, as well as the swimming and fitness facilities (shared with the public). For people with mobility issues, there will be assistants for the first hour of exercise, and we can arrange assistants for swimming also.

Each session, the schedule of activities may change to suit the participants; we will have ongoing discussion to ensure everyones needs are met.

Free for clients of Powell River Brain Injury Society and their helpers and family members…

Christmas Dinner at the Lighthouse Church

We are delighted at the generosity of Lighthouse Church in providing Christmas dinner for us again.

It will be on Friday evening, December 9, 2016 at 6.30 pm.

The Lighthouse Church is located at 4620 Michigan Ave, Powell River.

Yes its FREE, though we do need to know who is coming, to plan. We have a sign-up list at the centre; drop by to add your name or give us a call at 604-485-6065.
